Hi There, I’m Michaela!
If you’ve been around Montrose sports since 2019, chances are you’ve spotted me on the sidelines, camera in hand! Originally from California, I moved to Montrose back in ’98 and have happily raised my boys here.
Between baseball, football, wrestling, lacrosse, and my husband’s jiu jitsu, our family lives and breathes sports. I started photography to be more than just the mom shuttling kids to practice – I wanted to be truly involved. What began as a hobby photographing landscapes during our summer hikes evolved into something special when I saw how sports photography could ignite passion in young athletes. That moment when they see themselves in action and it fires up their drive to push harder? That’s what keeps me coming back.
When I’m not tracking the action through my lens, you’ll find me at home with my husband and our three pups, probably planning our next family barbecue or getting ready for the next big game. These moments matter, and I love being there to capture them.
